- Camber - POWDER S
This profile combines positive camber from the tail through the mid-body with a rockered nose. This delivers two things that Rome feels snowboarding demands for surfing powder: float and glide up front, and slashing power in the tail.
- AirPop Core Matrix
Integrated into a matrix of responsive poplar wood laminates, Rome lays in five zones of low-density, ultra light wood to reduce weight.
- HotRods: Carbon Double Barrel
This configuration features two rods that start under both bindings and extend in straight lines towards the tip and tail. The result is a double dose of straightline pop, and it also increases torsional response to put more kick into Rome's flat-rocker and powder boards.
- SinterStrong Sidewalls
In some of Rome's all-mountain boards they employ sintered sidewalls to increase strength against unwanted impacts. Sintered material is more elastic than traditional sidewall material, so it can absorb impacts more easily without breaking. It also dampens vibration for a smoother overall ride.
- SinterSpeed Base
For most of Rome's high-end boards, this base delivers the premium speed that freeriders need for gliding in cold powder and that freestyle riders need for hitting take offs at the right speed.
- Bi-Radial Sidecut
- Karakoram Ultra Clips
