The concept for the Stingray already existed as the “Big Mountain Mantaray” when the Mantaray was released 12 years ago.
Less taper and bigger sidecut radius to match steeper slopes and draw bigger lines. Gentemstick spent 5 years on R&D to fine-tune this concept, and finally released the Stingray in addition to the Mantaray lineup.
