That's a Wrap! 

What happens when you combine the best riders, the rugged BC backcountry, and a deadline for epic footage? You get the Vans Snow Days Digital Shop Challenge and our Pacific Boarder crew totally crushed it!

This competition was all about embracing the grind, testing the limits of the newest gear, and capturing the raw, authentic moments of a true "Snow Day." Our dedicated squad tackled everything from deep powder slogs to high-speed descents, proving that a little bit of hard work earns the best rewards (and the best footage!).

Meet the Crew & The Gear That Survived

The challenge environment was absolutely unforgiving, a perfect test for the boots, which are arguably the most crucial piece of gear. Our crew, including heavy hitters Adriana Bartkova, Ryan Patterson, and Gillian Andrewshekno, put the Vans boots through a full-spectrum beatdown.

Ryan's rundown shows exactly what these boots were up against while they were out there slaying those lines:

"Last spring, I took the new Vans Verse Range boots along for a day of hunting steep lines in the backcountry surrounding Squamish, BC. From cruising on the sled, slogging on the skin track, to the final bootpack and the descent, I loved being able to adjust the boot using the Dual BOA and ride mode strap to suit every situation in the mountains." 

Gillian Andrewshekno also weighed in on the performance during aggressive, high-speed riding:

That’s a full day of torture! The ability to instantly dial in the fit using the Dual BOA and switch to the specialized ride mode strap proved essential for our crew. We can confidently say these boots—the official footwear of the challenge—are legit, tested, and approved for mountain madness by the most demanding riders.

Celebrating the Success (and the Footage!)

The Vans Snow Days Digital Shop Challenge was a massive win for Pacific Boarder. It not only gave our incredible crew the stage to showcase their skills but also celebrated the core connection between our shop, our talented athletes, and great brands like Vans.
