Snowboarding is So Much Fun Shop Night 2026
This year, Snowboarding Is So Much Fun is doing things a little differently. For the first time, SISMF isn’t just one big night. We’re turning it into a three-part series, giving the snowboard community even more reasons to get together and get hyped for winter.
Shop Night on September 23 was the first event of its kind for SISMF, kicking things off with a packed Pacific Boarder, up to 50% off winter gear, brand activations, games, prizes, pizza, waffles, drinks, and plenty of snowboard talk. It was everything we love about SISMF, but this time, it was only Part One.
What went down?
It wouldn’t be SISMF Shop Night without some seriously good deals.
For one night only, shoppers could score up to 50% off winter gear, making it the perfect excuse to finally upgrade that board, replace those bindings or get sorted with new outerwear before the snow starts falling.
The first 50 people to spend $100 also scored one of our SISMF gift bags, while newsletter subscribers got access to an exclusive VIP coupon.
There were boards being carried out the door, new setups coming together and plenty of “I wasn’t planning on buying anything tonight...” moments.
Honestly, we get it.
Build a Binding with Union
One of the most hands-on activations of the night came from Union Binding Co. with Build a Binding.
Instead of just looking at bindings on the wall, people got to put the pieces together themselves and see what actually goes into building a snowboard binding. It was interactive, a little competitive and a pretty fun way to get to know your gear better.
And there was a very good reason to play. One lucky participant walked away with a pair of Union Women’s Contact Snowboard Bindings.
Not bad for building a binding.
Rome Turned the Shop Into a Golf Course
Snowboarding event. Golf game. Sure, why not?
Rome Snowboards brought Bucket Golf to SISMF, giving everyone a chance to test their short game right in the middle of a snowboard shop.
Turns out putting for prizes makes people take golf surprisingly seriously.
The game brought plenty of laughs, near misses and questionable technique, all with a Rome Artifact Snowboard waiting for one lucky winner at the end.
It was weird. It was fun. It was very SISMF.
Hammerschlagen with Oakley
Oakley’s Hammerschlagen brought a different kind of competition to Shop Night.
Simple in theory. A little harder once you’re actually standing there trying to do it with a crowd watching.
It quickly became one of those games where everyone suddenly had advice for whoever was up next. Whether that advice actually helped is another story.
Getting Creative with Burton
Over at the Burton Custom Totes station, everyone got the chance to slow things down and get a little creative.
Guests could customize their own tote and leave SISMF with something completely unique. No leaderboard. No winning required. Just a fun way to make something and take a piece of Shop Night home with you.
And Burton wasn’t done there.
They also teamed up with Doka Lisa for the Burton x Doka Lisa Pizza Party, because custom totes and pizza make a surprisingly solid combo.
Yes, Someone Could Win a Gozney
One of the biggest prizes from Shop Night isn’t over just yet. The Gozney Pizza Oven Raffle has officially been extended, which means you still have a chance to take one home!
Come in for snowboard gear. Leave with a pizza oven? Honestly, we’re into it. 🍕🔥

Shredcatz and Nitro Snowboards also joined the fun with another raffle, which meant there was pretty much always another reason to test your luck throughout the night.
More Chances to Win with Shredcatz x Nitro
Shredcatz and Nitro Snowboards brought even more stoke to Shop Night with another raffle and another reason to stick around. It wasn’t just about showing up and shopping. Guests had the chance to enter, hang with the local snowboard community, and potentially walk away with some seriously good Nitro snowboard.
Having Shredcatz involved made it even better, bringing community into the mix and connecting people through the thing that brought everyone together in the first place: snowboarding. Between the games, giveaways, and raffles happening throughout the shop, you never really knew what you might leave with.
Come for the deals, stay for the community, and maybe go home a winner. 🏂
Come Hungry Wasn’t a Suggestion
With three hours of shopping and games, food was definitely necessary.
Alongside the Burton x Doka Lisa Pizza Party, Vans Canada kept everyone fuelled with waffles, while Red Truck Beer brought the drinks.
And because there’s no proper Shop Night without good music, Ride Snowboards teamed up with 45 Vinyl Ritchie to bring the tunes and keep the energy going all night.
Pizza. Waffles. Drinks. Vinyl. Snowboarding.
We may have figured out the formula.
But You Guys Made the Night
As much as we loved the games, giveaways, food and brand activations, the best part of SISMF was seeing Pacific Boarder completely packed with people who genuinely love snowboarding.
Friends brought friends. People bounced from activation to activation. Brand crews hung out with customers. New setups were being picked out while someone across the store was putting for a snowboard or trying their luck at Hammerschlagen.
It didn’t really feel like a regular night at the shop.
It felt like the snowboard community took over the shop.
And that’s what Snowboarding Is So Much Fun has always been about.
Getting everyone together. Not taking ourselves too seriously. Getting hyped for winter. And remembering that at the end of the day, we’re all here for the same reason.
Snowboarding is just really, really fun.
