The PB x Golf Invitational on May 26, 2026 was exactly what we hoped it would be, fun, slightly chaotic, and full of good energy. It wasn't about perfect swings or strict scorecards. It was about PB staff getting outside, connecting, and experiencing golf the Student Golf way: relaxed, social, and a little unpredictable. The pitch and putt was the perfect setting, short holes, quick rounds, and just enough challenge to keep things interesting.
And yes... there were actually some solid pars on the board. A few unexpected hero putts dropped, a couple clean approaches found the green, and suddenly people who "don't golf" were walking off holes feeling like pros. Between the laughs, near misses, and random moments of brilliance, the vibe stayed light the entire time. No one took it too seriously, but everyone got competitive just enough.
Students Golf also kept things interesting with prizes up for grabs, which definitely added some extra motivation. From closest-to-the-pin moments to brag-worthy putts, there were plenty of highlights worth celebrating. And honestly, the biggest win wasn't even the prizes- it was the shared experience. Getting the team together, trying something new, and seeing how effortlessly Student Golf's laid-back approach fits into the Pacific Boarder culture.
