Whether you're upgrading your setup or just clearing some space, we’ll handle the selling process from start to finish. Here’s how it works:

Consignment Process

1. Submit the Form

Please fill in the form below and add as many detail as you can to present your board. You can also upload photos and videos.

2.Get a Quote

We’ll get back to you within 2 business days with an estimated selling price. Your quote is valid for 2 weeks.

3. Drop Off Your Board

If you choose to move forward, we'll set up an appointment for you to to drop off your board. You’ll pay a $50 non-refundable service fee, and sign the agreement

4. Surfboard Listing

We’ll take professional photos, write a description, create a product listing, and put your board on display in-store and online.

5a. Your Surfboard Sells

Once the surfboard sells, you’ll be contacted to choose your payout: Either get 85% as store credit, or 75% via cheque

5b. Unsold Items

If your surfboard doesn’t sell within 60 days, we’ll notify you to pick it up.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What types of surfboards do you accept for consignment?

We accept most surfboards in good, water-tight condition. We do not accept boards with major structural damage, delamination, or excessive wear. Please make sure your board is clean and wax-free when you drop your board off.

2. Is there a fee to consign a surfboard?

Yes, there is a $50 non-refundable service fee per board, payable at the time of drop-off.

3. How much money will I get from the sale?

You’ll receive either 85% of the selling price as store credit or 75% via cheque—your choice once the board sells.

4. What happens after I drop off my surfboard?

We photograph your board, write a description, and list it both online and in-store. Once listed we will promote it for 60 days. You’ll be notified once it sells.

5. How long will my board be listed for sale?

Each board is listed for a maximum of 60 days. If unsold, you’ll be contacted to pick it up.

6. Do you guarantee my board will sell?

No, we do not guarantee a sale. Market conditions and demand vary, but we do our best to present your board to the right buyers.

7. What if I don’t pick up my board after 60 days?

If not collected within 2 weeks, a $10/day storage fee applies. After 30 days, unclaimed boards may be donated or sold at a Rummage Sale with proceeds going to charity.

8. Can I withdraw my surfboard from consignment early?

Yes, email consignment@pacificboarder.com at any time during the 60-day period to request a withdrawal.

9. How will I be paid once my board sells?

We’ll contact you to choose between a cheque or store credit. Payouts must be claimed within 6 months of the sale date.
