This is the second generation of the Niseko Low, following on from the Niseko 2.0 Low with a few real upgrades. The look comes straight from traditional Japanese fishing and road worker boots, the kind some people still wear every day of the year, though winter is when this pair really proves its worth.
A wool blend lining sits inside an EVA outer shell, so your feet stay warm without the boot feeling heavy on your foot. Underneath, a fully waterproof, cleated sole keeps you upright on ice, and the shock-absorbing heel takes the edge off every step on hard-packed snow. Each pair also comes with a two-layer removable insole.
