Burton's 50/50 Beanie brings back 1998, when freestyle riding took over and the beanie was still the badge on the hill. Helmets hadn't taken hold yet, so what you wore on your head said who you were. This reissue keeps that same attitude intact.
The knit stays simple, with clean embroidery instead of added detail. Burton's original catalog called it a cranium apparatus, and the description still fits: no extra fluff, just everyday warmth for whenever your head gets cold on the hill.
