Burton's Lightweight Base Layer Set is the everyday layer for kids who don't slow down between the hill and the couch. It moved to a recycled fabric this season, so the wicking Dryride Ultrawick mesh underneath the casual fit comes from recycled polyester instead of virgin material.
The 145gsm Birds Eye mesh knit stays breathable while it pulls moisture off skin fast, which matters when a kid goes from sledding to sitting still in five minutes flat. Chafe-free Softlock seams sit flat against sleeves and hems with double needle stitching, and thumbhole cuffs keep sleeves in place under a jacket.
