Before snowboarding had lift access or much acceptance at all, riders wore the original Powdershell Jacket just to get up the mountain. This fiftieth anniversary version keeps that 1985 shape intact, a nod to early riders like Andy Coghlan and Mark Heingartner.
A 3-layer fabric replaces the original material, rated 20K on both waterproofing and breathability, with every seam taped against water intrusion. The hood comes off when conditions clear up, and pit zips let out excess heat once the effort ramps up.
