Capita based the Mega Merc on the same directional shape as the Mercury series, then loaded in a heavier round of construction upgrades for riders who want one board to handle the whole mountain, from groomers to deep days.
The topsheet uses a thin, matte laminate that cuts a big chunk of weight compared to a standard topsheet, and the base gets an aftermarket-style tune that channels water off at an angle for extra glide from the lift line to the bottom of the run.
