The Capita Men's Outerspace Living Snowboard 2024 seamlessly blends a true-twin freestyle shape with an all-terrain camber profile, catering to freeriders seeking versatility. With a technically designed directional twin setup, the inserts are subtly set back, providing the flexibility to mount centered as a true twin based on individual stance preferences. Featuring the award-winning Mercury series inspiration, the positive camber underfoot ensures power retention, complemented by an elevated nose and tail for adept navigation through variable conditions. The Multizone Core™ offers a balance of forgiveness and power, ideal for crushing park laps after the powder is tracked out. The board incorporates advanced technologies such as PLT Topsheet Technology™ for a lightweight, high-gloss finish, eco-friendly SPECIAL BLEND Biaxial Fiberglass for enhanced technical properties, Carbon Aramid Struts for heightened strength and response, and the Multizone Dual Core™ combining Poplar and Beech for a poppy yet forgiving flex. The SUPERDRIVE™ FX Base, residing in the Sintruded category, marries the benefits of sintered and extruded bases, ensuring durability and optimal performance.
| PLT TOPSHEET TECHNOLOGY™ | PLT Topsheet Technology™ is exclusive to Capita MFG and magically bonds the topsheet to an already pressed snowboard. This produces a featherlight, smooth, high-gloss finish, without using any solvents or toxic lacquers in finishing. |
| SPECIAL BLEND BIAXIAL FIBERGLASS | SPECIAL BLEND is an eco-friendly wet lay-up process that uses Capita's MAGIC BEAN™ resin component requiring lower consumption of energy and yielding higher technical properties. This adhesion process improves the factory's working environment, as it does not contain some of the same harsh chemical characteristics used in resins at other factories around the world. |
| CARBON ARAMID STRUTS | Known for its rigidity, high-tensile strength, low weight, high-temperature tolerance, and low thermal expansion, Carbon Fiber is one of the most popular materials used in today's high-performance applications. Capita increases power and response on a wide range of models by integrating different adaptations of carbon fiber thickness, width, weight, or weave ensuring Capita's boards remain ultralight. |
| MULTIZONE DUAL CORE™ | Poppy lightweight Poplar core combined with Beech for increased power and durability. Newly reengineered to taper between the insert packs for a more forgiving flex |
| SUPERDRIVE™ FX BASE | The SUPERDRIVE™ base material lives in the Sintruded category of boards that deliver benefits of both sintered and extruded bases. These bases take the characteristics and manufacturing techniques used in creating extruded base material, but due to higher pressure and temperature, increase the surface hardness to levels near most sintered bases. SUPERDRIVE™ EX is the benchmark for sintruded material. |
