Twenty-five years in, The Black Snowboard of Death still carries the same name, even as the shape and construction keep evolving underneath it. That staying power comes from a directional profile suited to all-mountain terrain and freeride lines, holding its edge whether the snow is packed or fresh.
The base uses a sintered Hyperdrive ADV XT formula that's fast underfoot and holds up to regular abuse, paired with Moonshot Omni-Tune structuring that channels water off at an angle to keep speed up in slush. An inlaid alloy plate reinforces the tail against impacts and helps transfer power more efficiently.
