The Baby Mantaray 148 is the shortened version of the Mantaray, sized as a women's go-to model at 1480mm long with a 246mm waist. It shares the Mantaray's short camber system and rocker line. Riders have loved it since its 2007 debut, and it's still one of Gentemstick's best sellers.
Here's why that short camber matters. The camber peaks near the center of the effective edge, and both ends finish before the widest points, so the board flows into the nose and tail rockers and edges are less likely to catch. A relatively low camber height adds smooth turning on top. Picture a tight tree run: a forgiving edge is a nice thing to have there. Flex is medium.
