The Howl Helm is for riders who want real waterproofing without feeling like they're wearing oven mitts. GORE-TEX keeps the wet out, and the low-profile shape keeps bulk to a minimum on long days in the mountains.
PrimaLoft insulation adds warmth, while the elasticized wrist and Velcro strap give a secure under-cuff fit, so the mitt stays put beneath your jacket sleeve. A reinforced suede thumb takes the wear where it happens, and the removable leash helps keep a dropped mitt close.
