Underneath, a bamboo, aspen and paulownia core gives it a lively, springy feel, and a carbon inlay running down the middle wakes up your ollies. K2 swapped wood for a stiffer, lighter material in the tip and tail, so the nose and tail stop dragging on that extra 180, and Crown's sintered base keeps you gliding long after the wax should've worn off.
