Before it left the test lab, the Orton spent time with K2's athletes and backcountry guides, along with the 100-plus days Sage Kotsenburg spent getting it right. That testing led to a boot with a one-piece rubber lower and integrated mesh, keeping your feet dry and warm on long days out.
A dual-zone BOA Fit System handles the upper and lower shell separately, so it adjusts to a wide range of foot shapes. The Vibram V5 outsole grips in the bootpack, and Eco-Harshmellow foam underneath soaks up impact so your legs feel it less by the end of the day.
