Fully seam sealed and fully lined, it keeps the weather out and the warmth in.
Think about the moment you drop into a snowy slope and the snow starts flying. Waterproof zippers on the side pockets and the front fly mean you can stash your gear without worrying about slush. Inner boot gaiters with elastic cuffs keep snow out of your boots, and the snow seal at the waist means you stay dry where it counts. Knee articulation lets you bend and kneel without the fabric pulling tight.
