The Furnace Hooded Insulator works as a technical mid-layer or holds its own as a standalone jacket once temperatures drop. Baffles are woven into one continuous piece of fabric, so the whole puffer forms in a single layer. 850FP goose down fills those channels without adding bulk. At 220g, it packs down small enough to disappear into a pack.
20D Japanese woven nylon covers the shell. The down gets a hydrophobic treatment, so it keeps insulating when things turn wet. A self-stuffing pocket packs the whole jacket into itself, and YKK zippers stay smooth under a pack strap.
