The Fuse 3L Guide Jacket drops traditional stitching for a seam-free cut, cutting bulk without giving up protection in nasty weather. Fewer seams mean fewer weak spots when a storm hits, and the jacket packs down small enough to disappear into a pack until conditions turn ugly.
A 70D 3L Pro Shell woven in Japan carries Toray Dermizax fabric rated to 36,000mm of waterproofing, backed by a soft knit liner against your skin. Seams get taped down to 13mm, and at 560g the jacket stays light for something meant to handle real alpine punishment.
