The Swix Base Protect Tape is a practical tuning accessory for protecting alpine ski bindings during hot waxing. Applied to the ski sidewall around the binding area, it helps prevent melted glide wax from dripping onto binding components while using a waxing iron.
The 51 mm-wide tape comes in a 50-metre roll for repeated use during ski preparation. It's easy to remove after tuning, making it a useful addition to a workshop setup for race preparation and regular ski maintenance.
