The Freedom Pant is a go-to in The North Face's snowsports lineup, just as ready for packed groomers as for a back bowl day. The regular fit layers easily over a baselayer, and the waterproof DRYVENT 2L shell with a non-PFC DWR finish sheds snow and slush before it soaks through.
Body fabric uses recycled nylon and the lining is recycled polyester, keeping the shell durable without extra bulk. Mesh-lined inner-thigh vents and gaiter panels from the Chimney Venting system let heat escape fast, and reinforced kickpatches plus articulated knees hold up through moguls or a skin track.
