A boxy, oversized silhouette sets the 1996 Retro Nuptse apart from slimmer packable jackets, echoing the exact lines of the original 1996 release. Shiny ripstop fabric and a taffeta overlay at the collar and yoke hold up under daily wear, on a mountain approach or a walk downtown.
An exposed VISLON center-front zip and secure-zip hand pockets keep gear locked down, while the stowable three-piece hood tucks into the collar when it's not needed. Hook-and-loop cuff tabs and a hem drawcord seal out the cold, and embroidered logos on the chest and shoulder echo the oversized branding of the original.
